Australia has had a long-standing history of allergies.
Complex weather patterns, long grasses, weeds and trees have always affected people’s respiratory systems and this year, with the third year events of El Niña in a row, we’re set to see a bigger spike in allergy symptoms.
Record rainfalls, thunderstorms and the growth of more grass pollen will undoubtedly trigger allergy sufferers.
In the last 3 years alone, we have seen highly elevated grass pollen levels in Spring and Summer in some parts of Australia, particularly Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
Allergy sufferers can attest to the increase in symptoms such as hay fever, asthma, headaches, itchy eyes and skin, blocked sinuses and infections and sore throats.
For some the symptoms come and go, for others, it gets worse in the afternoon or evening and we all know how uncomfortable nasal blockage can be when trying to get to sleep!
Obviously, we can’t (and shouldn’t) spend all our time hiding indoors, so lucky for you, here at Herbs Online Shop, we have a great Allergy Protocol designed to help you get through.
Have you tried our Allergy Herbal Drops? A great mix of Albizia, Eyebright, Burdock, Nettle, and Calendula, that has traditionally been used to lessen the symptoms of allergies, these Allergy Herbal Drops are helpful in decreasing allergic reactions, decreasing inflammation, promoting respiratory health and a healthy immune system.
They are also an effective treatment for children with eczema and recurrent ear infections, which are often caused due to allergies. Our Allergy Herbal Drops are natural and safe to use.
We also recommend Quercetin. Taken in an easy tablet, Quercetin helps to reduce inflammation and assist in allergy management. It’s a powerful antioxidant and you only need one or two tablets a day, depending on your symptoms.
Taking an Allergy Probiotic would also be beneficial, especially as it helps to decrease the occurrence of eczema and help manage allergy symptoms.
Chickweed Cream is a fabulous natural anti-itch cream. We hand-make all our creams with a blend of natural paraben-free cream bases. Add in 20% Chickweed herb and applied to the skin, Chickweed gives relief from eczema, allergy, bites, stings, nappy rash and dermatitis.
If you haven’t tried our Nasal Spray yet, then you’re missing out! Made with Grapeseed Extract, Nigella and a drop of Eucalyptus, we are finding great results with this nasal spray to lubricate and soothe the nasal passages.
All of these products provide fast symptomatic relief, are immune modulating and help your immune system cope with the inflammation caused by hay fever and allergies.
Of course, it’s best to always consult with our Naturopath, so please book an appointment if you are unsure of what you should be taking to help reduce your allergy symptoms.
You can book a consult here https://herbsonlineshop.com/product/60-minute-consultation-lifestyle-coaching-session/ or call on (02) 9555 5117 to get the right guidance for you.
We hope you take care this allergy season and please do let us know how this protocol works for you.
