As a Naturopath, a question I get asked time and time again is “What’s the best and easiest way to detox?”
And one of those ways is with Glutathione.
Haven’t heard of it?
It’s certainly not mainstream; however, its use is starting to garner more attention for its benefits in providing longevity and vitality to your life force.
What does that mean?
Glutathione is one the strongest antioxidants you can get.
In fact, it’s around 5,000 times stronger than any other antioxidant in your body. It’s also a master detoxifier that helps to potently protect your body’s cells against oxidative stress from dietary and environmental free radicals as well as those resulting from normal metabolic processes.
When you’re young, your body naturally produces glutathione on its own, but as we age, glutathione levels become depleted from lack of sleep, poor diet, stress, medications, toxins, alcohol and overeating.
One of the biggest depleters of Glutathione in your body is toxins – chemicals, pollutants, radiation, and other contaminants that trigger damage and oxidation in your body.
Every day we are assaulted by toxins that enter into our bodies, from the air we breathe, the foods we eat, medications, chemical products, toiletries, plastics, garden chemicals and sprays, aluminium, receipts and even dust.
Even the toxins from household furniture such as flame-retardant sofas, beds and carpets emit daily chemicals that we’re not even aware of.
You might start feeling tired, fatigued and like you’ve lost your mojo. You feel old, you feel forgetful. And your immune system lacks the support it needs to fight off any invaders. You start having digestion problems, your sinuses become clogged and mucousy. And your liver becomes overloaded and sluggish.
Toxins are everywhere, and not easy to avoid, but you can give your body the chance to repair and start functioning well again.
By supplementing with Glutathione, it helps to
- Remove heavy metals and harmful toxins from the body
- Enhance immune function and protect against infections
- Reduce oxidative stress and cellular damage, potentially slowing down the aging process
- Support collagen production contributing to healthier skin by fighting free radicals
- May help prevent or manage chronic health conditions.
You can help to increase your glutathione levels with supplementation, getting enough regular exercise, managing stress and sleep and consuming sulfur-rich foods such as garlic, onions, and cruciferous vegetables.
Just think, the more toxins your body takes on, the harder it is to detox and the more glutathione you need.
Glutathione protects vulnerable DNA from damage, whilst also serving as a key factor in proper detoxification.
The use of liposomal technology ensures superior absorption and intracellular delivery resulting in greater bioavailability and effectiveness.
Try glutathione today and give your body the boost it needs to feel sharper, and more energised, and dramatically improve the way you look and feel.
