Usnea, also known as old man's beard, is a type of lichen that grows on the trees, bushes, rocks, and is rich in usnic acid and polyphenols.
Usnea is used for weight loss, pain relief, fever control, and wound healing; and to make phlegm easier to cough up. Usnea is also used directly on the skin for sore mouth and throat and for athlete’s foot.
Precautions
Not for use during pregnancy or lactation.
Adult Dose: 3ml ONCE or TWICE a day.
