Myrrh is an anti fungal and anti inflammatory herb that is recommended to cure intestinal worms or parasites, cold, bronchitis and mouth ulcers.

Myrrh helps to fight viral infections and aids in stimulation of nervous system. Myrrh calms inflammation in various tissues caused due to fever or viral infections.

Myrrh may be used for indigestion, ulcers, colds, cough, asthma, lung congestion, arthritis pain.

The herb has also been used for treating amenorrhea, dysmenorrheal, menopause and uterine tumors as its properties of ‘blood moving’ helps in removal of stagnant blood out of uterus.

Myrrh is applied directly to the mouth for soreness and swelling, inflamed gums (gingivitis), loose teeth, sores, bad breath, and chapped lips.  It may also be used topically for hemorrhoids, bedsores, wounds, abrasions, and boils.

Precautions
Not for use during pregnancy or lactation.
